I think the medical attention I receive is exemplarary. I am treated fairly and well by most of the staff.
I do not have any doubts about my consultants' ability to look after me well and make the right decisions. I can discuss my feelings and opinions. The phlebotomy/bloods aspect is less organised; there are often staff shortages and the quality of staff ability varies. They are usually friendly but waiting times can be long.

Prompt, straight forward and efficient.
Doctors manner is very comforting and professional. Appointments run late
The way they attend to me when I'm unwell. The waiting around at the end of treatment for a taxi. Sometimes over an hour waiting for a taxi to turn up.
Generally, car is excellent. Areas for improvement are: 1) better monitoring and recording of "dry weight". I have had several instances of the use of out of date dry weight resulting in hypotension.
2) Better scheduling of transport and arrival times to minimise time in unit. As example I arrived today at 7:00 and didn't get out until 8:00.
I was able to converse with consultant. Makes me feel at ease.
Waiting time before and after treatment too long. Nurses should understand that the patients are tired and hungry after their treatment and would like to leave the hospital quicker. The catering provided is awful with lack of choice. There should be more nurses in the unit as they do not stop treating the patients. They are basically run of there feet trying to deal with everyone.
